Three founders. Three professional careers. One platform built for the city. This is not manufactured hype. Every credential on this page was earned on an actual court.
"I played in seven countries. Won a CBA Championship. Led professional leagues in scoring three separate times — Germany, Spain, China. When I came back to Indianapolis, I looked at what was available for real hoopers and the infrastructure was not there. We built BRP because we had the standard and the credibility. All we needed was the platform."
— Darius Adams, BRP Co-Founder
Born Ready Platform was not built in a boardroom. It was built by three professional basketball players who looked at the Indianapolis scene and saw a gap — serious hoopers with no real competitive stage, no infrastructure, no platform to prove themselves against the best.
DA and G5 had both competed at the highest levels of professional basketball overseas. They had the credibility. They had the network. They had the standard. What they built is a platform where that standard meets the street — where any hooper in Indianapolis can step up and find out exactly where their game stands.
"I built a career across twelve countries because I believed in what I could do at every stop. Indianapolis raised me. When I came back I saw a city full of talent with no real competitive platform to prove it. That is the gap BRP fills — and that is why we built it."
— Greg Foster, BRP Co-Founder
Three professional careers. Three different paths. One shared standard — show up, compete, and let the court decide. Meet the founders of Born Ready Platform.
One of the most elite scorers in the world during his professional career in China. DA built his game over years of competing at the highest professional levels overseas — leagues where the competition is real, the stakes are real, and excuses do not exist.
When DA stepped on the court against Robert Colon — TNC League's number one ranked player — he did not just compete. He won. He walked away with $10,000 and the receipts to back up everything BRP stands for.
"BRP is built on one standard — show up ready to compete. No politics. No favorites. You either got it or you do not, and the court decides every time. That is the only standard I have ever played by."
— Darius Adams
DA's role at BRP: The competitive face of the brand. The standard-setter. When DA steps on the court, every other competitor in the building knows exactly what BRP is about.
Born in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Raised on New York City basketball. One of the most naturally gifted basketball players the game has seen. Lance Stephenson's NBA career brought him back to where it matters most — the Indiana Pacers playoff run, the Big 3 Championship, and now home.
Lance is not a figurehead. He is an active competitor who puts his name and his game on the line at every BRP event. The brand carries his nickname for a reason — Born Ready is not just a slogan. It is who he is and what BRP demands of every competitor who steps through the door.
"'Born Ready' is not something I gave myself. Bobbito García put that name on me at Rucker Park when I was 15 — because I stayed on the court with grown men and held my own. That name is a standard. BRP is that standard for every hooper in Indianapolis who wants to find out exactly where their game stands."
— Lance Stephenson
Lance's role at BRP: The credibility anchor. The most recognizable active competitor in the basketball scene is a BRP founder — not an endorser, not a sponsor. A founder. That changes everything about what this brand means.
Extensive professional overseas career. G5 put in the work across multiple leagues and countries, competing at levels that most players never reach. He is the operator behind BRP — the one who makes the machine run while DA and Lance are on the court.
When G5 stepped on the court against Moon — TNC League's number two ranked player — he competed. That is the BRP standard in action. Founders do not watch. Founders run it.
"Twelve countries. Every league, every stop — I competed and I improved. BRP is for the player who has that same mentality. Who is willing to show up, put their game on the line, and find out exactly where they stand. That player deserves a platform. Now they have one."
— Greg Foster
G5's role at BRP: The operator who makes BRP run. Every event executed, every system built, every detail handled — G5 is the infrastructure that turns DA and Lance's competitive credibility into a functioning platform.
Events are the beginning. The BRP vision extends into every corner of Indianapolis basketball culture — from the youngest players coming up to the professionals who built careers nobody heard about.
BRP is building the infrastructure that this city's basketball community has never had. A real competitive stage. A real path for overlooked talent. A real investment in the next generation.
Built for the players who trained their whole lives and never got the call.
BRP is your stage. Whether you played overseas and came back unrecognized, played college ball and went undrafted, or grew up in Indianapolis putting in work that nobody saw — this platform exists for you. Show up. Prove it. The court is the only judge that matters here.
Get your ticket to the next BRP event or register to compete. The court is open. What you do on it is up to you.
